The company MATERIÁLOVÝ A METALURGICKÝ VÝZKUM s.r.o. has succeeded with its project application in the programme THETA 2 announced by the provider Technology Agency of the Czech Republic. Since May 1, we are starting to solve together with our partners ECOFER s.r.o., TECHNOSVAR a.s. and SMOLO a.s. a project Research and development of high-potential heat accumulator. The target of the project is construction of prototype of heat storage tank, which allows the accumulation of surplus electricity from renewable sources in the form of highpotential thermal energy, and to provide the energy in times of its shortage. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2027.
