Last week, the CirkArena project was successfully presented at the 10th annual “Platform for Just Transformation” conference in Brussels, where it was selected by the European Commission as one of the nine most important projects from across the European Union. This prestigious event, supported by the Fund for a Just Transition, focused on supporting initiatives aiming for a just transition towards sustainable development.
The presentation of the CirkArena project was led by Jozef Vlček, who presented the key benefits of the project in the field of regional development and the transition to a circular economy to the conference participants. The conference was attended by approximately 250 experts, institutional representatives and project representatives from across Europe, including the European Commissioner for Cohesion and Reform, Elisa Ferreira.
We are pleased to announce that the CirkArena project was ranked third most inspiring and motivating for collaboration at the conference. This success confirms the quality of the project’s preparation and its promising direction.
The CirkArena project is an exceptional opportunity to connect scientific and research capacities with practice and regional needs. We thank all partners for their support and commitment in the preparation of this project. We believe that together we will be able to realise the ambitious goals of the project and contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
