An important step in the preparations for the implementation of the CirkArena project took place on February 29th, 2024, when the project received unequivocal support and was recommended by the Regional Standing Conference for further evaluation. Thus, the CirkArena project is moving to the final approval phase, represented by the selection committee of the Operational Programme Just Transition, which is expected to meet in the coming weeks. In parallel with the process of applying for European support, all preparatory steps and project preparation are continuing. Round 1 of the preliminary market consultation has been completed and Round 2 is being prepared, where individual bidders are submitting their preliminary quotations.

CirkArena is one of the strategic projects of the Operational Programme Just Transition Fund for the Moravian-Silesian Region. It represents the creation of a new scientific and research infrastructure that will materialize the solution to the topic of circular economy in the region. The project is being prepared under the auspices of the Ministry of Regional Development in cooperation with ten other partners from the public, R&D and non-profit sectors.
